Individual Therapy

Therapy is one of the most powerful ways to change your life because it offers a forum for you to reflect on and connect with parts of yourself, your past, and your present that otherwise remain in the background or receive too little attention and loving care. Our psychotherapeutic services address a variety of concerns that include healing from the past (including trauma resolution), developing healthier coping skills and ways of navigating your life in the present, and creating a healthier and more intentional future. Our therapists work through a holistic lens that centers the mind and body and make use of a range of effective therapeutic modalities including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, internal family systems (IFS), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), emotional freedom tapping (EFT), music therapy, and positive psychology.

Here are some of the aspects of therapy we specialize in:

  • Exploring your sexual identity, including but not limited to: lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer,  asexual, or aromantic.

  • Exploring your gender, including but not limited to: transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, gender fluid, or agender.

  • Coming out to family, friends, work, or partners.

  • Exploring societal, institutionalized, and internalized oppressions associated with being LGBTQIA+.

  • Preparing medical gender transition, whether your own or a loved one's; includes writing letters of support for medical transition.

  • Processing and healing from trauma, whether from childhood or more recent experiences.

  • Healing and/or developing healthy relationships and communication skills.

  • Supporting you through personal and/or professional life transitions and changes.

  • Helping you beyond symptoms of depression and anxiety so you can enjoy life again (or for the first time!).

Our therapy services are a virtual offering so you can experience the benefits of being in the comfort of your own home from anywhere in Pennsylvania, which also supports your ability to lean into a healthy vulnerability and to easily integrate your experience post-session.

We do not accept insurance but we do work on an income-based sliding scale, if needed.

Relational Therapy

Relational Therapy is focused on the dynamics between two or more people. In couples therapy we offer sessions for people who are looking to better understand one another and create more of what you want in your partnership. In this safe environment, you can explore your challenges more openly, find new ways to compassionately relate to one another, and increase the health of your relationship. We welcome polyamorous and kinky-identified couples, relationship groups of more than two, or any form of open or non-traditional relationship formats.
